Beavers

Try new things, make friends

Beavers

The Beavers team

Cassy Simpson (Spider) along with Helen (Racoon), Dan (Dung Beetle), Chris H (Chipmunk), Emma (Wolf), Karen (Badger), Neil (Dormouse) Our Young Leaders Dhilan, Evie (Fox), Ava & Leo. Our Beaver Leaders have all adopted Scouting names from woodland and forest animals from around the world.

When you join Beavers, you'll be introduced to lots of new activities, people and things. Beavers is the second youngest section at 7th Airedale, but that doesn't mean our sessions are any less exciting.

Activities and what you'll get up to

Get an introduction to outdoor activities, have the opportunity to be creative, explore your local community and experience the excitement of a Beaver Scout sleepover with your friends.

Last term alone we went camping, did archery and tomahawk throwing, went bell boating, went cycling, did creative crafts, went on hikes, learnt how to tie knots, visited a fire station and much more.
